NYSSPA Attends Pri-Med Conference
at Jacob Javitz Center

NYSSPA made its presence felt August 24-26 of this year at the Annual Pri-Med Conference held in New York City.  David Jackson, Jenny Jackson and Brian Glick hosted a booth that welcomed Physicians, PAs and other providers alike.  Numerous opportunities to promote the PA profession and answer questions from many Physicians regarding adding PAs to their practice were entertained.

NYSSPA was able to recruit new members and renew others. The word was being passed along also regarding the legislation signed by Gov. Spitzer and the importance of waiting for the NYS Health Department to update their regulations before writing for Schedule II Prescriptions. When the clearance is given, NYSSPA Members will be the first to know.  The NYSSPA Booth was deemed a great success from those who represented NYSSPA and those who stopped by to support the PA Profession.
