Log-In Instructions


Log-In/Password Instructions:

1. Enter your NYSSPA membership number in the USER NAME section of the log-in box. (Make sure your CAPSLOCK key is turned off so it is entered as a number).

2. Enter your LAST NAME with the first letter capitalized (i.e. Smith) into the PASSWORD section of the log-in box. Passwords must be at least 6 characters long. If your last name is less than 6 characters, your password will contain additional letters from your first name. For example, Jack Smith’s password would be Smithj. 

3. Press "Submit"

Once you are logged in, you will be able to access any portion of the membership section, as long as you do not close all browser windows. If you are working on a computer, other than your home computer, be sure to close all browser windows when you have finished.

Special Last Name considerations:
A. CAPITALIZING: Your password is case sensitive. All passwords are listed as: Smith, Jones, etc. (the first word is a capital letter). If your name is McDoon, type it in exactly as written, with the M and D capitalized.

B. HYPHENATED NAMES: If you supplied a hyphenated last name on your membership application, such as Smith-Jones, then your password is the complete hyphenated last name with appropriate capitalization.
