	Mission In 1996, the New York State Society of Physician Assistants underwent a comprehensive review of its mission. The Mission of the New York State Society of Physician Assistants is: to provide outstanding care to our patients to improve the quality of health care to promote, address and represent the interests and development of the Physician Assistant profession in New York State.

	NYSSPA members recognize the professional obligation and benefit of supporting the only state-wide organization dedicated to enhancing their professional practice environment and ability to provide quality health care.
